The research method used is a quantitative method. The form of this research is classroom action research. The nature of this research is collaboration with classroom action research design. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMPN 01 Ulakan Tapakis. The collected data is processed and analyzed by calculating percentages and numbers. The study was conducted with a pretest and posttest in the experimental class and control class. The data obtained by the average pretest and posttest results in the experimental class was 40.19 and increased to 61.54. In the control class that is 41.35 and rose to 47.69. the similarity test of the two averages obtained is 5.22. Where the similarity test of the two averages is obtained from the N-gain value. The similarity test of two averages serves to see whether there is an increase or not in the treatment before and after. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan for the academic year 2021-2022. The method used in this study is a Quasi Experiment method, with a research design that is <em>Non Equivalent Control Group Design</em>. The sample of this study was class VIII.1 as the experimental class which was treated using the <em>Learning Cycle 5E</em> model and class VIII.2 as the control class which was treated using the Conventional model. The sampling technique used is <em>purposive sampling</em> technique. The instrument used in this study is a written test instrument in the form of multiple choice as many as 20 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty index and discriminatory power using the help of <em>Anates V4.</em> The hypothesis test used is the <em>Independent Sample T-test</em> with the help of <em>SPSS Version 26</em> and the value sig = 0.000 &lt; 0.05 with the decision H<sub>0</sub> is rejected. This study aims to produce an E-Module in Ethnosains-Based Integrated Science on Materials of Substance, Temperature, and Heat for VII Grade Students that is valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development (R&amp;D) using a 4D model, but the research only goes up to three stages including the define, design and develop stages. Based on the results of the study through the validity test of the E-Module, it obtained a validation scored of 85,82% with a valid category. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan <em>Research and Development / R&amp;D</em> dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan yaitu <em>analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi</em>. <em>Website</em> dirancang menggunakan <em>Content Management System (CMS) Open Source Wordpress</em>. E-modul interaktif berbasis <em>website</em> divalidasi oleh 4 orang validator menggunakan instrumen lembar validitas dan uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh tiga orang guru IPA dan 30 peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang menggunakan instrumen lembar uji praktikalitas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh data hasil uji validitas oleh tenaga ahli didapatkan rata-rata moment kappa sebesar 0,88 dengan kategori kevalidan sangat tinggi, hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan rata-rata <em>moment kappa</em> sebesar 0,92, Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik dengan rata-rata nilai <em>moment kappa</em> sebesar 0,93 berada pada kategori sangat praktis. So it is necessary to apply a learning model that can hone students' cognitive abilities such as the Project Based Learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the cognitive abilities of Grade VIII students of SMP/MTs in the material on the digestive system in humans. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non- equivalent post test only control group design. The samples used in this study were class VIII 1 and VIII 3 of 60 students. data collection is done by giving posttest questions. The results of the analysis showed that the average presentation of the cognitive abilities of the experimental class students was 73.6 and the average presentation of the control class was 56.1. Based on the t test obtained Tcount = 3.51 and ttable = 1.67 with a significance level of 0.025. So from the results of these calculations tcount is greater than ttable (tcount 3.51 &gt; 1.67 ttable) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In this research, the control class was given conventional learning, while the experimental class was given learning with E-comic media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This type of research is quasi Experimental Research with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The sample in this study was Class VIII.1 (Control class) and Class VIII.2 (experimental class)with a total of 64 students. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire of motivation to learn science. The results showed the N-Gain value in the control class was -0.08 and the experimental class was 0.06 and the low interpretation, with the low interpretation of the N-Gain causing no significant effect between learning using CTL based e-comic media and conventional learning models. As the results of the hypothesis test obtained that the tcount gainscore is 0.983, while the ttable is 1.999 at the significance level α = 0.05 with dk = 62. Panduan praktikum merupakan satu diantara pelengkap terjalankannya kegiatan praktikum pada proses belajar. Jenis dari penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian pengembangan, metode penelitian <em>Research and Development</em> (R&amp;D). Model yang dipakai pada penelitian yakni model 4-D yang mempunyai sejumlah tahapan yaitu mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tahap pendefinisian (<em>define</em>) mencakup atas lima tahap, yakni: melakukan analisis awal akhir, mengmanalisis peserta didik, menganalisis tugas, menganalisis konsep dan tujuan praktikum. (2) Tahap perancangan (<em>desain</em>) mencakup atas tiga tahap yakni: memilih media, memilih format, rancangan awal. (3) Tahap pengembangan (<em>develop</em>). Penelitian ini memakai kuesioner sebagai instrumen validasi dan kepraktisan.Panduan praktikum pembelajaran IPA untuk kelas VII SMP/MTS yang sudah dilakukan pengembangan bisa dikategorikan valid dan praktis, yang dihasilkan lewat tahapan untuk mendefinisikan (<em>define</em>), merancang (<em>design</em>), dan mengembangkan (<em>develop</em>). Panduan praktikum pada proses belajar IPA untuk kelas VII SMP/MTS, melalui uji validasi diraih nilai validitas <strong>86.83%</strong> dalam kategori yang <strong>valid</strong>. Pada uji praktikalitas oleh guru diraih nilai praktikalitas <strong>84.36%</strong> dalam kategori yang <strong>praktis</strong> dan uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik diraih nilai praktikalitas <strong>83.2%</strong> dalam kategori yang <strong>praktis</strong>. Dilihat melalui hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan ada sejumlah saran dimana guru bisa memakai panduan praktikum pada proses belajar IPA untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTS menjadi satu diantara inovasi panduan praktikum pada proses belajar dan melaksanakan praktikum. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique in this study used observation sheets on the implementation of learning which were filled in by observers during the learning process. Based on the results of the observational analysis, it shows that the implementation of the Reading to learn learning model as a whole has been going very well. This is shown from the proportion of implementation of each syntax of the R2L model. At the reading preparation stage, it was obtained that the proportion of execution was 100%, reading details was 75%, note-taking was 83.3% and joint construction was 100%. This research was conducted at junior high school 1 Kota Solok in grade 8.H and grade 8. I. The type of research conducted is research and development (R&amp;D). The research model used is the Plomp model. The plomp model consists of 3 stages, namely Preliminary research (initial investigation stage), Prototyping stage (prototype formation), and Assessment stage. The instrument used in this study is by using a questionnaire to test the validity and practicality. The validity test was carried out by an expert validator while the practical test was carried out by science teachers and eighth grade junior high school students. The results showed that the Validation Test obtained a validity value of 0.93 in the valid category. In the practicality test, the teacher achieved a practicality value of 0.89 in the practical category and the practicality test by students in the small group test achieved a practicality value of 0.89 in the practical category and the practicality test by students in the large group test (Field Test) the value achieved by practicality is 0.83 in the practical category.
