INFLUENCE OF TGT TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ON EARTH STRUCTURE MATERIAL AND ITS DYNAMICS ON STUDENT KNOWLEDGE COMPETENCE IN SMPN 01 ULAKAN TAPAKIS

This study aims to determine the effect of the TGT type cooperative learning model on the material of the earth's structure and its dynamics on the knowledge competence of students at SMPN 01 Ulakan Tapakis. The research method used is a quantitative method. The form of this research is classroom action research. The nature of this research is collaboration with classroom action research design. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMPN 01 Ulakan Tapakis. The collected data is processed and analyzed by calculating percentages and numbers. The study was conducted with a pretest and posttest in the experimental class and control class. The data obtained by the average pretest and posttest results in the experimental class was 40.19 and increased to 61.54. In the control class that is 41.35 and rose to 47.69. the similarity test of the two averages obtained is 5.22. Where the similarity test of the two averages is obtained from the N-gain value. The similarity test of two averages serves to see whether there is an increase or not in the treatment before and after. From the data above, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the treatment of the TGT type cooperative learning model on the knowledge competence of students at SMPN 01 Ulakan Tapakis.

The Effect Of The Learning Cycle 5E Learning Model On Students' Learning Outcomes On Human Excretion System Materials At SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan

This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle 5E model on student learning outcomes on the material of the human excretory system. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan for the academic year 2021-2022. The method used in this study is a Quasi Experiment method, with a research design that is Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study was class VIII.1 as the experimental class which was treated using the Learning Cycle 5E model and class VIII.2 as the control class which was treated using the Conventional model. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a written test instrument in the form of multiple choice as many as 20 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty index and discriminatory power using the help of Anates V4. The hypothesis test used is the Independent Sample T-test with the help of SPSS Version 26 and the value sig = 0.000 < 0.05 with the decision H₀ is rejected. The results of this study indicate that the average N-Gain learning outcomes of students using the Learning Cycle 5E model are higher than the average N-Gain learning outcomes of students using the Conventional model on the human excretory system material in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan.

DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATED SCIENCE E-MODULES ETHNOSAINS-BASED ON SUBSTANCE, TEMPERATURE AND HEAT FOR VII GRADE

During the COVID-19 pandemic, learning is carried out online, to answer the challenges of online learning, it is necessary to make teaching materials that can be used from home, such as electronic modules. This study aims to produce an E-Module in Ethnosains-Based Integrated Science on Materials of Substance, Temperature, and Heat for VII Grade Students that is valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model, but the research only goes up to three stages including the define, design and develop stages. Based on the results of the study through the validity test of the E-Module, it obtained a validation scored of 85,82% with a valid category. The practical test by the teacher scored 90,74% in the very practical category and the practical test by the students scored 95,15% in the very practical category.

WEBSITE-BASED WITH LOCAL WISDOM APPROACH OF INTERACTIVE E-MODULES DEVELOPMENT FOR SCIENCE LEARNING

Penelitian ini didasari atas belum tersedianya e-modul interaktif berbasis website sebagai salah satu inovasi sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan peserta didik secara mandiri. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development / R&D dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Website dirancang menggunakan Content Management System (CMS) Open Source Wordpress. E-modul interaktif berbasis website divalidasi oleh 4 orang validator menggunakan instrumen lembar validitas dan uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh tiga orang guru IPA dan 30 peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang menggunakan instrumen lembar uji praktikalitas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh data hasil uji validitas oleh tenaga ahli didapatkan rata-rata moment kappa sebesar 0,88 dengan kategori kevalidan sangat tinggi, hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan rata-rata moment kappa sebesar 0,92, Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik dengan rata-rata nilai moment kappa sebesar 0,93 berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian e-modul interaktif pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan etnosains berbasis website sudah valid dan praktis.

The background of this research is the lack of application of learning models that are appropriate to the learning material in class VIII SMP N 5 Padang, so that the lack of creativity of students when learning results in a decrease in students' cognitive abilities. So it is necessary to apply a learning model that can hone students' cognitive abilities such as the Project Based Learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the cognitive abilities of Grade VIII students of SMP/MTs in the material on the digestive system in humans. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non- equivalent post test only control group design. The samples used in this study were class VIII 1 and VIII 3 of 60 students. data collection is done by giving posttest questions. The results of the analysis showed that the average presentation of the cognitive abilities of the experimental class students was 73.6 and the average presentation of the control class was 56.1. Based on the t test obtained Tcount = 3.51 and ttable = 1.67 with a significance level of 0.025. So from the results of these calculations tcount is greater than ttable (tcount 3.51 > 1.67 ttable) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the cognitive abilities of Grade VIII students of SMP/MTs on the subject of the digestive system in humans.

The purpose of the research is to produce the development e-module integrated natural sciences type of shared based on problem-based learning on interaction of living things with the environment matrials. This research uses research and development with 4-D models. 4-D models consist of several stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate but this research is only limited to the develop stages. The result of the analysis of this research data obtained validity value with a percentage of 93% with a “very valid” category. Result of practicality data analysis by the teachers with a percentage of 89% with a “very practical” category, and result of practicality data analysis by students with a percentage 94% with a “very practical” category. The conclusion of this research is the development of shared type based on problem based learning on the topic of the interaction of living things with the environment is valid and practical.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF E-COMIC MEDIA UTILIZATION BASED ON CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) TO INCREASE LEARNING MOTIVATION OF GRADE VIII STUDENTS

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of e-comic media based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in improving motivation to learn natural sciences students of Class VIII SMPN 40 Padang. In this research, the control class was given conventional learning, while the experimental class was given learning with E-comic media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This type of research is quasi Experimental Research with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The sample in this study was Class VIII.1 (Control class) and Class VIII.2 (experimental class)with a total of 64 students. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire of motivation to learn science. The results showed the N-Gain value in the control class was -0.08 and the experimental class was 0.06 and the low interpretation, with the low interpretation of the N-Gain causing no significant effect between learning using CTL based e-comic media and conventional learning models. As the results of the hypothesis test obtained that the tcount gainscore is 0.983, while the ttable is 1.999 at the significance level α = 0.05 with dk = 62. So it can be concluded that t_count < t_table (Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted) which means that the use of e-comic media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is not effective in increasing students science learning motivation on the material of the human digestive system.

Praktikum ialah kegiatan pengajaran melalui bertemu muka yang menitikberatkan terhadap aspek psikomotorik. Panduan praktikum merupakan satu diantara pelengkap terjalankannya kegiatan praktikum pada proses belajar. Jenis dari penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian pengembangan, metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model yang dipakai pada penelitian yakni model 4-D yang mempunyai sejumlah tahapan yaitu mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tahap pendefinisian (define) mencakup atas lima tahap, yakni: melakukan analisis awal akhir, mengmanalisis peserta didik, menganalisis tugas, menganalisis konsep dan tujuan praktikum. (2) Tahap perancangan (desain) mencakup atas tiga tahap yakni: memilih media, memilih format, rancangan awal. (3) Tahap pengembangan (develop). Penelitian ini memakai kuesioner sebagai instrumen validasi dan kepraktisan.Panduan praktikum pembelajaran IPA untuk kelas VII SMP/MTS yang sudah dilakukan pengembangan bisa dikategorikan valid dan praktis, yang dihasilkan lewat tahapan untuk mendefinisikan (define), merancang (design), dan mengembangkan (develop). Panduan praktikum pada proses belajar IPA untuk kelas VII SMP/MTS, melalui uji validasi diraih nilai validitas 86.83% dalam kategori yang valid. Pada uji praktikalitas oleh guru diraih nilai praktikalitas 84.36% dalam kategori yang praktis dan uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik diraih nilai praktikalitas 83.2% dalam kategori yang praktis. Dilihat melalui hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan ada sejumlah saran dimana guru bisa memakai panduan praktikum pada proses belajar IPA untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTS menjadi satu diantara inovasi panduan praktikum pada proses belajar dan melaksanakan praktikum. Peserta didik bisa panduan praktikum proses belajar IPA untuk siswa dari kelas VII SMP/MTS ini untuk menambah serta memudahkan melaksankan praktikum serta memahami materi pembelajaran.

Observation of Reading to Learn Model in Science Materials in Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok

This study aims to determine the implementation of Reading to Learn learning on science material for class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique in this study used observation sheets on the implementation of learning which were filled in by observers during the learning process. Based on the results of the observational analysis, it shows that the implementation of the Reading to learn learning model as a whole has been going very well. This is shown from the proportion of implementation of each syntax of the R2L model. At the reading preparation stage, it was obtained that the proportion of execution was 100%, reading details was 75%, note-taking was 83.3% and joint construction was 100%. The percentage of each R2L model syntax is included in the good and very good criteria.

Development Of Integrated Science Teaching Materials Based On Problem Based Learning For Grade 8th Junior High School

The purpose of this study was to measure the validity and practicality of the Integrated Science learning module with the STEM-integrated Problem Based Learning model. This research was conducted at junior high school 1 Kota Solok in grade 8.H and grade 8. I. The type of research conducted is research and development (R&D). The research model used is the Plomp model. The plomp model consists of 3 stages, namely Preliminary research (initial investigation stage), Prototyping stage (prototype formation), and Assessment stage. The instrument used in this study is by using a questionnaire to test the validity and practicality. The validity test was carried out by an expert validator while the practical test was carried out by science teachers and eighth grade junior high school students. The results showed that the Validation Test obtained a validity value of 0.93 in the valid category. In the practicality test, the teacher achieved a practicality value of 0.89 in the practical category and the practicality test by students in the small group test achieved a practicality value of 0.89 in the practical category and the practicality test by students in the large group test (Field Test) the value achieved by practicality is 0.83 in the practical category. The results of the research carried out there are several suggestions where teachers and students can use these modules as additional teaching materials to support the learning process so that students play an active role in learning.
