The STEM integrated practicum module is able to train student skills because students can experience the learning process directly. The use of the ethnoscience approach in the practicum module can introduce facts and phenomena that can be explained scientifically. In general, the aim of this research is to produce an science practicum module integrated STEM using ethnoscience approach that valid and practical to use. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The research method used in the 3 stages of a the ADDIE, namely analysis, design, and development. The research instrument consisted of a validity and practicality test questionnaire. The results of the development stage indicate that the practicum module is valid with the validity test value given by the expert validator of 0,82. Practicum module in practical category with a questionnaire value of 0,89 teacher responses and 0,85 students responses. The results showed that science practicum module integrated STEM using ethnoscience approach can be used with valid and practical categories.
2024-11-07T03:53:21+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://universe.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/universe/article/view/252The Development Science Practicum Module STEM Integratedly on Light Topics with Realistic Approach2024-12-09T06:57:52+00:00Nurullina Fajrinurullinafajri89@gmail.comRahmah Evita Putrirahmahep@fmipa.unp.ac.id
Ideally, science does not only focus on cognitive aspects, but includes attitudes and skills. The implementation of practicum activities aims to improve student skills, cannot be separated from the avalilability of teaching materials that used as a guide in practicum activities. This study purpose to produce a valid and practice science practicum module STEM integratedly on light topics with realistic approach. This research is urgent because produce teaching material that helps teacher and student to assist the practicum activities and can help student to understand the concepts through realistic approach. This is Research and Development (R&D) with three stages of the ADDIE model, namely Analysis; Design; and Development. The result shows the science practicum module STEM integratedly on light topics with realistic approach was valid and practice. Valid and practice means that the teaching material are feasible and easy for use in the learning process. Based on the results, it can be concluded that scince practicum module STEM integratedly on light topics with realistic approach can be used as teaching material that supports practicum activities.
2024-11-29T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://universe.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/universe/article/view/556IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRATED ETHNOSCIENCE INTERACTIVE E-MODULES IN ENERGY MATERIALS IN LIFE SYSTEMS ON LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS VII STUDENTS2024-12-09T07:06:56+00:00Atiqah Ulya Hayandiatiqahulya99@gmail.comSkunda Diliarostaskunda@fmipa.unp.ac.id
The 21st century, revolution industry 4.0, and the 2013 curriculum require students to be able to take advantage of information and communication technology and require students to be more active in learning, as well as student-centered learning. However, in reality the students have not been active in learning and the learning time for energy material in living systems has not been effective. One solution to this problem is to implement an integrated science interactive e-module integrated with ethnoscience so that students can learn actively and independently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an integrated science interactive e-module integrated with ethnoscience on energy material in living systems that is significant for class VII student learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The experimental class used an integrated science interactive e-module integrated with ethnoscience, while the control class used printed teaching materials. The results of the data analysis show that there is an effect of the implementation of an integrated Ethnoscience integrated science interactive e-module on energy material in living systems that is significant for class VII student learning outcomes.
2024-12-09T07:06:55+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://universe.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/universe/article/view/548THE CROSSWORD PUZZLE SUPPORT OF THE THINK PAIR SHARE COOPERATIVE LEARNING AND THE AFFECTNESS TO COGNITIVE ABILITY2025-04-29T08:07:37+00:00Adhilla Prima Putriadhillaprimaputri2020@gmail.comFirda Az Zahrafirda.azzahra@fmipa.unp.ac.id
This research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes in science learning at 8th grade in Secondary School 34 Padang. It caused by the science learning process is still teacher-centered so that students are less active in the learning process. This study aims to find out how much influence of the cooperative model type think-pair-share assisted by crossword puzzles on students' cognitive abilities. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent posttest only control group design. The population of this study was all students of 8th grade in Secondary School 34 Padang that consisted of 9 classes. The samples of this study were 32 students of class VIII-A and 30 students of class VIII-B. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling technique. The results of the data analysis was carried out by using SPSS version 25 application which carried out by using a hypothesis test with independent sample t-test. The test results, a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.004 <0.05 which means is rejected and is accepted. It can be concluded that the cooperative model type think-pair-share assisted by crossword puzzles has an influence on students' cognitive abilities of students at Secondary School 34 Padang.
2025-04-29T08:07:36+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://universe.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/universe/article/view/555THE EFFECT OF GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION ON STUDENTS’ LEARNING OUTCOMES IN TEMPERATURE, HEAT AND EXPANDING MATRIALS2025-04-29T08:35:59+00:00Debby Tria Oktanesa EfiTDebbytria31@gmail.comFirda Az Zahrafirda.Azzahra@fmipa.unp.ac.id
This research is motivated by the results of observations of 7th grade students at SMPN 29 Padang for the 2021/2022 academic year. It is known that there are still many students who in the learning process are less active and cooperate with each other. Student learning outcomes are classified as low with an average below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 80. Teacher apply teacher centered learning methods in the learning process. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes with the Guided Inquiry learning model on the material Temperature, heat and expansion. This research was conducted at SMPN 29 Padang for the 2022/2023 school year. The samples in this study were 32 students of class VII.6 and 32 students of class VII.7.

This type of research is quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a test instrument in the form of an objective test of 30 questions. Data analysis used the normality test, homogeneity test and parametric test, namely the t test to see an increase in student learning outcomes.

The results showed that there was an increase between before and after the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model where t count was greater than t table, namely 7.62 > 1.67.
2025-04-29T08:35:58+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
