Abstract

In 21st century education there is a demand for human resources that must be possessed, namely 4C skills. In the field of education must use a curriculum that supports this, namely the independent curriculum. Apart from the curriculum, media and models in learning are also needed in fulfilling the current 21st century education. One of the media that is compatible with current technological developments, namely electronic modules and learning models that are suitable for fulfilling one of the 4C skills (critical thinking and problem solving) is the problem-based learning model. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D), with the ADDIE development model consisting of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation, this research is only carried out until the development stage. The instruments used were teacher and student interview sheets, validity and practicality test questionnaires. The research data was calculated using the Moment Kappa (k) formula to analyze the results of the validity and practicality tests. The results of the validity test obtained an average kappa moment (k) value of 0.86 with a very high category. The results of the practicality test on teachers obtained an average value of a kappa moment (k) of 0.96 with a very high category and the results of the practicality test on students obtained an average value of a kappa moment (k) of 0.84 with a very high category. Based on these results, it means that the PBL-based Integrated Science e-module on temperature, heat and expansion material is valid and practical.
